  • I love WAC because it is truly a launchpad for my dreams and has brought me to the most incredible people and opportunities. The chance to interact directly with faculty members, to be involved in every aspect of my education, to learn experientially, and with lots of interdisciplinary pathways available has made the last two years so incredible. I'm passionate about helping students find their niche here at WAC, because there really is something for everyone! The role of Peer Mentor Leader is truly the most fun job I've ever had, because I get to interact with fellow students from their first day on campus and empower them to thrive in a place I love so much.

  • I chose to be a Peer Mentor because I want to grow. I recognized while I was comfortable being a leader, I knew I was missing something. I was looking forward to getting to know my mentees but I never could've pictured growing through the peer mentor team. I found what I was looking for through creating those connections with them.

  • I love WAC because of the people and opportunities that WAC has. Our professors care and want us to exceed both in and out of the classroom. My freshman year I was able to attend a week long seminar by PLEN about Women in Global Policy. This past spring I went to Northern Ireland with my Comparative Peace Processes class. This trip was designed to include all of our different interests. Additionally, I have received a grant from the Cater Society to study park signage in Bermuda this summer!

  • WAC is great due to its smaller class sizes. I am able to form great relationships with my professors, who open the door to unique opportunities for me. I chose to be a peer mentor to help guide freshman to find themselves with the amazing opportunities that WAC provides.
