Sophie Kerr Scholarships
The Sophie Kerr Scholarships in English Literature scholarships are four-year $1,500-$3,000 tuition scholarships.
Are you an admitted applicant to Washington College’s incoming first-year class? Are you interested in literature and writing of all kinds? Are you considering a major in English or a minor in Creative Writing or Journalism, Editing & Publishing? Do you want to meet writers who visit campus and participate fully in the writing life at Washington College?
If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you are eligible to apply for a Sophie Kerr Scholarship!
The Sophie Kerr Scholarship is an up to $3000 scholarship, renewable annually. A total of six (6) $3,000 tuition scholarships and six (6) $1,500 scholarships will be offered to incoming first-year students, renewable annually for four years.
