Hilary Bateman
Hilary has been at WAC since 2015, first joining the Office of Academic Skills, and as the Assistant Dean of Advising and Academic Advocacy since 2022.
In her role as Assistant Dean of Advising and Academic Advocacy, Hilary works to create a meaningful and educationally effective advising experience and to support all students.
She works with students individually to create adn implement plans for success, and define what success means for them and their Washington College experience. She provides traning and leadership in Washington College's advising programs, supporting advisors to provide a holistic and supportive transition from high school to college, major, graduation, and beyond.
