John Guthrie

Throughout his life, John Guthrie has been intrigued by psychology. After undergraduate school he received a doctorate in Educational Psychology, emphasizing learning and motivation. He served as a faculty member at the University of Maryland College Park for 23 years, specializing in motivation and engagement including children, adolescents and adults. In retirement, he is focusing on resilience and mental health of adolescents and adults.
