October 5, 2022 The Washington College Concert Series presents the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Quintet, (Kimberly McCollum, Yuri Tomenko, Diana Golden, Chris Chlumsky, and Woobin Park), who will perform two beautiful piano quintets from the 19th century. February 16, 2023 Daydreams of the Flute takes the audience on a musical journey of the flute fantasia repertoire. The program includes a broad range of styles in this free-form genre, including the Baroque Fantasies of Telemann, the gypsy-inspired Airs Valaques, the dance-themed Fantasía para un gentilhombre (Rodrigo) and Tango Fantasia (Gade), as well as favorites from the opera cannon: Fantaisie brillante sur ‘Carmen’ and Rigoletto-Fantaisie. *Learn More about the Program |
