Study Abroad
Study Abroad
The Department considers study abroad an essential component of the language major’s academic experience, and we strongly encourage majors to spend at least one semester abroad in one of our Washington College programs.
These programs are outlined below, but students are encouraged to seek out more detailed information from the faculty and from the Global Education Office as early as possible as they plan their study abroad experience. While most students choose to go abroad during their junior year, it is possible to go during the sophomore year as well, and a few students wait until the first semester of the senior year.
