The Center for Environment & Society serves as a bridge between Washington College and the rich natural and human resources of the region. We offer lecture series, workshops, films and seminars provide new perspectives and professional development opportunities for the campus and the larger community.

Internships are an important part of the student’s career journey as they move through the four-year developmental process. One of the goals of the Global Education Office is to foster an intercultural education experience for both current WC students who want to study abroad and incoming international students. Washington College has 30 partner institutions all over the world for full semester and full year trips. All WC students are able to start studying abroad as early as their second-semester sophomore year!
